Combilift Ltd


Combilift Ltd, the manufacturer of the versatile range of 4-way forklifts will be holding the Midland Heat of its 2008 Driver of the Year Competition on the first day of the Logistics Link Live exhibition at Magna Park (21st and 22nd May. Visitors will be able to test the forklifts by competing on a challenging course which involves picking up and carrying large and bulky loads around obstacles, tight corners and backwards and forwards through a figure of eight - all against the clock!

Information on the wide range of Combilift models will also be available from the Combilift stand in the hall, and Combilift personnel will also be on hand on the 2nd day of the show to give demonstrations of the trucks� capabilities.

Diamond Phoenix


Diamond Phoenix, suppliers of world-class automated materials handling systems will be able to give attendees an up close and personal insight into a wide range of conveyor technologies designed for the transportation and sortation of cartons and totes.

The demonstration will feature multiple conveyor technologies that include Under Belt Drive, Lineshaft, Motorised Roller and the revolutionary V-Belt Drive. In addition, Diamond Phoenix will be conducting a talk in the Seminar Suite on the subject of �Applying and Justifying Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (AS/RS) in Distribution Applications to gain a competitive advantage.� This will include review of business plans, operational risk and return on investment.

Elephante


Elephante is a UK leader in the design, manufacture and installation of lifts, cranes, material handing equipment and working platforms.

They will be taking advantage of the high ceilings at Solar, Magna Park, by demonstrating one of their huge 8 metre lifts inside the Live Demo Arena. It is sure to be seen from anywhere inside the Show.
