Toolstation is given the SSI Schaefer Treatment ... again!

SSI Schaefer has yet again successfully delivered Toolstation with much-needed materials handling equipment.

Toolstation, longstanding customer of SSI Schaefer following the fit-out of its South West Distribution Centre in Bridgwater, Somerset back in 2005, recently required further storage for a number of long and awkward parts including large boxed tools, access equipment and plastic pipes but only had a very tight space available in which to store them.

However, Toolstation, a privately owned multi-channel supplier of reliable trade products aimed at making life easier for trades' people in the UK, were confident that SSI Schaefer would come up with a cost-saving storage solution that maximised the limited space.

Following a number of discussions with Alistair Woodman and Sarah Woodberry of Toolstation, SSI Schaefer supplied and installed low level PR600 Pallet Racking, three bays deep, in two separate areas.

Alistair Woodman said: "Having previously used Schaefer's PR600 Pallet Racking providing us with over 4400 pallet locations for bulk storage of more than 10,000 product lines, we knew that the pallet racking was the right choice for us. With the designated racking now in place, we can pick the larger, more awkward parts with ease, allowing a previously under-utilised area to be used to its full potential making for a more efficient running distribution warehouse."

SSI Schaefer's multi-location pallet racking system is designed to be compatible with Euro and industrial pallet dimensions. Whatever the industrial sector or storage environment, longitudinal beam racking makes an ideal multi-location storage medium.
