Cimcorp’s MultiPick® Concept
MultiPick® is an automated order picking system for plastic crates. From a human activity point of view, manual order picking of food and beverage crates is very labor intensive and repetitive work requiring
• handling of heavy loads
• frequently monotonous tasks
• requires high degree of accuracy
• at inconvenient hours
• often at low temperatures
• difficult to recruit and retain personnel
Many of these things have occupational health implications, especially ergonomic affects. MultiPick® responds to these needs by supplying a motivating environment for the operators.

The filling and replenishment cycles are made by using product/SKU based locations on the floor.
Single item picking is accomplished by the use of automatically replenished pick-by-light controlled pick faces with the orders for full crates and single items being consolidated at the shipment stage.
